For many years Gareth has been the voice of Horticulture on BBC Radio Foyle where he offers weekly focus on the exciting world of Horticulture, feature pieces can also be found from Gareth on various platforms. With a past in Garden Centre Management, Gareth went on to deliver many different Horticulture programs with the North West Regional College (NWRC) and with the Donegal Education & Training Board (DETB)
For the past 10 years Gareth has offered a garden consultation and project management service which has seen Gareth problem solve in clients gardens throughout the Island of Ireland.
At the heart of it all is Gareths passion for local food production, and throughout his career Gareth has helped promote and create small scale urban food production, such as community gardens, edible containers, school gardens and much more.
Gareth is passionate about heritage gardens and landscapes and travels extensively visiting gardens, grounds and estates through Scotland and Ireland.
