I keep a plant (to be honest one of the few house plants I keep) just in the off chance its sunny enough to get sunburn! and because its so easy to keep....surviving on a little bit of water and an infrequent drop of fertiliser.
Aloe Vera have a very fleshy rhizome root, which allows the plant to produce lots of new plants, easily congesting a pots, so now's a great time to be splitting these up, potting up the ones you can take off with some root into fresh compost and then giving them away!
