The Moon Garden of Drenagh Estate is a special section of the near 1000 acre grounds. The 'core' of the Moon Garden pre-dates the current Mansion House and Conolly McCausland tells a wonderful story of how it was adapted to its current use by his late Grandmother. Now it serves as a wonderful intimate area to have a champagne reception or for wedding ceremonies.
On the far wall you can see what looks to be Bee Boles, these were old ways of keeping bees (pre 1830). These were very popular in Victorian Gardens, as even back then Victorian Gardeners understood how important bees were to polination of orchards and flower gardens
