2 weeks ago the guys from St Brigids College in Derry started to build this raised bed in North West Regional College. Well this week they got it all filled with soil and planted out.
You can source screened top soil from Brickkiln Waste - they offer small loads from 1 tonne up delivered kerbside.
In the bed we have planted Sunflowers, Dahlias, Livingston Daisys, Night Scented Stock, Cosmos and Marigolds - all plants the guys are grew from seed as part of their City and Guilds Horticulture Course.
The bit to the left is just being set up for some paving to be done there...
