Was in Oakgrove Primary yesterday and this amazing Bleeding Heart planted in pots either side of the front doors really caught my attention, it looked just amazing. As there was me only mentioning the Dicentra as being a summer show-stopper the other day!
The Bleeding Heart plant is just coming into its own in the garden now, the flowers are super delicate and as the name suggests it resembles a bleeding heart. I'd plant this as a 'middle of the bed' plant' , as I think the foliage can be untidy in summer months so I'd plant this behind a smaller shrub and then in front of a glossy shrub behind, something dark green that helps to show off the delicate flowers of the bleeding heart
