This is a big job, so its best to do it once and do it well. Don't scrimp on gravel or pipe. Use perforated piping and surround this with washed gravel, and don't forget the membrane layer on top before the soil goes back in. Without the membrane the pipe jut become blocked with gravitational falling soil...and you'll be doing it all over again!!
