a few sage cuttings taken....these should root slowly in the polytunnel over the winter and be ready for potting into individual pots in the spring and then planting out in summer....
Following on from taking Rosemary cuttings we took some Sage cuttings this week, same technique - removing straight shoots, removing growing tip, fresh cut below a leaf joint, wee touch of rooting powder and potting around the egde of a pot containing perlite and multi-purpose compost. Cuttings are then placed in a cool greenhouse for overwintering and will hopefully be ready in the spring for potting up individually....
