I just love this, both sides of the entranceway into the BeechHill Hotel have this Aubretia growing out of the walls, so cool and really pretty looking.
Aubretia is a member of the cabbage family, so it likes to grow wheer the soil is limey and free draining, so cracks in old walls are an ideal habitat for it. Check it out the next time you're passing by
