Groarty Primary School
This year in association with Housing Executive I have 10,000 daffodil bulbs to plant....a mighty task...but one that every group I work with rises to the challenge of (last year we planted 8000).
We've an increase this year on numbers so the pressure is on to get them in...and this week we hit the planting hard.
Every child from p1-7 came out and joined the planting in Groarty Primary School with the kids planting 500 in a few hours, a serious clump of Spring colour can be looked forward to!

Maybrook
After planting another 500 with Carnhill Nursery School I then started with the chaps from Maybrook Adult Learners Centre.....but this was Thursday and it lashed all day...so the folks planted a few but then we had to postpone for another day...hense why we're posing in the greenhouse.....
So this week we planted just over 1000, target for next week 6000.....gonna be busy!!
