After Iharvested the early spuds on 17th march I sowed some Royal Chantenney carrots into the beds....well this weekend I harvested them. Nothign beats that feelign when you pull the first few and you discover you have a tasty crop ready below. Chantenney is a smaller sweet carrots (not massive like a 'regular' carrot), ideal for quick growing or for containers, Chantenney is one to sow...
our tidy wee harvest, lots of shapes and sizes...but everyone super tasty. from sowing to harvesting about 17 weeks. and the bed cleared for some Broad Bean planting....
