This project developed by Gareth will see pupils from 12 schools throughout Derry-Londonderry build raised beds in their school ground to grow the heritage Lumper variety of Potato. Once harvested the pupils will come together and work with Emmett McCourt on making heritage food dishes using these Lumper potatoes. The Lumper potato was grown commercially last year for the first time in 170 years.
