Recently we planted a new selection of apple trees that we are going to grow Espalier alongside a new path. When we planted in additional to the normal well rotted compost and fertiliser we also ensured the roots has a sprinkling of beneficial Mycorrhizal Fungii...this stuff is just amazing...
and when all were planted a good thick generous mulch of well rotted garden compost from the compost bin was added
