Snowdrops of Glenveagh Castle
After being extended an invite to visit Gleveagh National Park to check out the snowdrops, I took advantage of the mighty weather on the first day of the mid-term break and took Gracie for a wee drive over. Around an hour from Derry, Glenveagh Castle and Gardens are a plant enthusiasts delight, It's hard not to be distracted by the wide range of flora on show, but my mission was snowdrops...and was I in for a treat! There are 10 varieties on show in Glenveagh...get yourself over and see if you can spot them all, many are just going past their best at the moment so get over this week!!
