Sweetest Honeysuckle in Ballyscullion Park I was stopped in my tracks when exploring the grounds of Ballyscullion Park by the perfume of this winter flowering Honeysuckle (Lonicera fragrantissima), it was amazing. (See more on this on the RHS PlantFinder)
Growing against a South West facing wall in the walled garden the flowers weren't hugely noticeable, but the scent was just incredible.
The owner of Ballyscullion Park, Rosalind Mulholland, kindly agreed to allow me to take a few Hardwood cuttings rom this magnificent specimen in the walled garden.
So I'm hopeful that in 20+ years time my own Sweetest Honeysuckle can stop others in their tracks, like this one in Ballyscullion Park did to me.
